Where to Get the Ekhein Hammer in Warframe

The Ekhein melee weapon can be acquired from Bird 3 in the Sanctum Anatomica hub on the planet Deimos, which itself can be accessed after completing the Whispers in the Walls quest. When speaking with Bird 3, select Browse Wares and purchase the Ekhein blueprint. Keep in mind that you’ll need to be Rank 3: Colleague with the Cavia Syndicate faction and spend 15,000 Standing with the faction to get the blueprint.

Once you have the blueprint, you’ll need the following materials to build it in your Foundry:

  • 2,400x Entrati Obols.
  • 75x Necracoil.
  • 10x Shrill Voca.
  • 3x Entrati Lanthorn.

Once you have those supplies, all you need to do is begin building it and wait 24 hours. After that, the Ekhein melee weapon will appear in your Foundry, ready to claim.

Is the Ekhein Worth Using?

The Ekhein melee weapon is a hammer weapon that naturally offers a lower attack speed combined with higher damage on each hit. The unique part of the Ekhein comes when using heavy attacks. When you perform a heavy attack, you’ll increase both the damage and attack speed of the Ekhein. As such, this can make the weapon quite useful when paired with one of the new Tennokai mods.

However, there’s something important to keep in mind. While I haven’t tested the Ekhein out myself since I’m still grinding the standing, hammer weapons are generally outclassed by faster-hitting melee weapons due to their ability to apply status effects on certain builds. They’re also high damage to begin with. That isn’t to say the Ekhein will be useless, but it’s worth keeping in mind.
