Warframe: How to Get the Corrosive Projection Mod

Where to Get the Corrosive Projection Mod in Warframe

Corrosive Projection is available exclusively through the Nighwave Cred Offerings as a weekly rotation item, available for 20 Nightwave Creds. This means that if the mod currently isn’t in the offerings, you’ll need to wait for the shop’s weekly reset on Sundays until the mod appears in the shop. Once it does, be sure to snag it before it’s gone. If you weren’t aware, Nightwave Creds are available as a reward for leveling up your Nightwave.

As a bonus fact, Corrosive Projection was previously available as part of an Artifact Defense Event on specific alerts, which was removed from the game. This was a long time ago though, and it wasn’t the most well-received event, so you weren’t missing much.

What Does the Corrosive Projection Mod Do?

Corrosive Projection is an Aura mod (meaning it can only go on your Aura mod slot for your frame) which lowers enemy armor by 18% at max rank. This means you and your allies will naturally deal far more damage to enemy forces, and hopefully handle things much easier. However, where this mod shines is in builds that are going for 100% armor reduction. One example of a build like this is with my Wisp build, which uses the Pillage ability from Hildryn and an Ability Strength arcane to strip all enemy armor. This makes dealing with hordes a breeze, since enemies have no chance of surviving whatever is thrown at them.
