Conquerors give you a bunch of rewards from opening War Chests while giving you more power. All they have to do is to get some takedowns. However, how do you know what rewards you would get? Are they random? Well, it isn’t exactly random, and here’s the complete list of War Chest rewards per conquest milestone.

We’ll also give you a rough overview of the Conqueror trait and how to play the team in Teamfight Tactics’ Set 13.

Complete Conqueror Guide to Set 13 in Teamfight Tactics | Into the Arcane

The Conqueror trait has the following effect:

“Conquerors’ takedowns grant stacks of Conquest. After gaining enough Conquest, open War Chests full of loot!”

Conquerors gain Attack Damage and Ability Power, increased by 3% for each War Chest opened.

  • (2): 16% Attack Damage and Ability Power → 1x Conquest
  • (4): 25% Attack Damage and Ability Power → 3x Conquest
  • (6): 40% Attack Damage and Ability Power → 6x Conquest
  • (9): 100% Attack Damage and Ability Power → 20x Conquest

All Conqueror units and their traits:

Conqueror UnitTraits
Darius (1G)Conqueror, Watcher
Draven (1G)Conqueror, Pit Fighter
Rell (2G)Conqueror, Sentinel, Visionary
Swain (3G)Conqueror, Form Swapper, Sorcerer
Ambessa (4G)Conqueror, Emissary, Quickstriker
Mordekaiser (5G)Conqueror, Dominator

Conqueror units are well-rounded with mostly frontline tanks. The whole team depends a lot on dealing consistent damage while making use of good tanks. The team will rely on units like Draven or Darius to do some damage because the others will lack damage early in the game.

Swain is an interesting unit as it is a Form Swapper. He can tank or deal damage from behind. Most players use him as a pseudo-bruiser, as Swain deals a lot of damage when built correctly.

Without getting a golden Draven or Darius, the team will rely on getting Ambessa to boost the team’s damage.

The Conqueror trait likes to be paired with Rebel, Chem-Baron, or even Family. The trait is extremely flexible and can be mixed with almost all the other traits, as you only need two Conquerors to activate the trait.

However, if you want to build Conqueror six or more, you’ll want to add a good damage dealer, preferably ranged units. The team also gets a big boost if you complete Sentinel and Sorcerer, as both traits buff the whole team, so they work well with a full Conqueror team build.

Your playstyle should revolve around trying to level up Darius or Draven early. Darius could carry your whole early game with items like Bloodthirster, Titan’s Resolve, Sterak’s Gage, Quicksilver, or Edge of Night. Draven would want Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Last Whisper, and Deathblade.

You can also use Darius’s items on Ambessa if you don’t get Darius to three stars or gold. The Conqueror team relies on snowballing Conquest to get the AP/AD bonuses from the main trait. You’ll have to be quick about your decisions, and you want to build around losing and win streaks.

All Conqueror War Chest Rewards in Teamfight Tactics | Set 13

Here are all the War Chest rewards for Conquerors on each milestone:

Stacked ConquestRewards
10x2 Gold
352-Cost Unit
654-Cost Unit
100Lesser Champion Item, 3-Cost Unit
150Item Component, Reforger
2004-Cost Unit, 5-Cost Unit
3305-Cost Unit
440Thief’s Item
550Completed Item
660Artifact Item
750Support Item

1000Locket, Zeke’s Herald, Chalice, Remover, x20 Gold
1200Radiant Item, Artifact Item, Remover
1500Tactician’s Crown, Radiant Crown, x80 Gold

Every reward here is great when you snowball early. You can get an early 4-cost unit or 5-cost unit faster than anybody else if you start the game strong. The rewards can be timely, but you should always remember that most of the other traits are stronger than you.

Since Conquerors have two effects (one gives power and one gives utility, like money), they aren’t as strong as other traits that purely capitalize on the team’s strength, like Rebels or Enforcers.

The faster you can reach Conqueror Four and Six, the easier it will be to get more power and snowball. You can get emblems from augments, game events, or other sources if you are lucky enough to find one. However, Conqueror emblems aren’t exactly useful when you get them in the late game. So, you should gauge your needs and look for power spikes until you get a great final build.

If you are enjoying the set or maybe you are coming from the Netflix series Arcane, you should check out the Treasure Realm and pull for exclusive tacticians like the Arcane Jinx Unbound. You never know. You might miss out on this exclusive cosmetic, and you might have some unused Mythic Medallions on your account.
