Unlock Hollow Knight Fleece in Cult of the Lamb Woolhaven
Yes, there is a fleece for the Lamb introduced in Woolhaven that’s essentially the garb of the Knight from the original Hollow Knight. It’s called “The Fleece of the Knight” and here are the steps required to unlock it:
- First, on your Crusades in the new dungeons, you need to find the “Wool of Sariel” to bring her back to the Woolhaven area. It’s a natural part of progression, and you can’t miss it.
- Next, in the Woolhaven area, rebuild Sariel’s graveyard using 10 Pure Yewbark.
- After the graveyard is constructed, head to the right behind her building and grab the Wool of the Knight.
- After that, make your way left of the cemetery and mine the stones behind the graves. You’ll get the prompt, don’t worry.
- This will expose the Unnamed Knight (look familiar?) statue with a hole to bury something in.
- Bury the Wool of the Knight inside this, and you’ll be given the Fleece of the Knight.
That’s it! After that, you can equip the fleece and cosplay as the Knight. This is purely cosmetic and provides no gameplay benefits. It looks great and has a neat effect when you walk around.

I’m really happy to see this neat little crossover item in the new expansion. Maybe there’s a Hornet fleece somewhere as well, but I haven’t come across anything just yet. There is a lot of new content and secrets in Woolhaven, including a very special tribute to the game’s late composer.
It should be noted that you need the expansion to access this fleece. It is not available in the base campaign.
