The Division 2 Winter Event 2025 Guide
Krampus comes to D.C. this holiday season.
The Division 2 is capping off its seventh year of support with a holiday event where players can earn festive apparel and weapons by defeating a folklore legend alongside other goodies. Here is the full guide to The Division 2 Winter Event 2025.
The Division 2 Winter Event 2025 Date and Requirements
The Division 2 Winter Event 2025 will be live starting Dec. 16 and ending on Jan. 6, 2026 for a total of three weeks. The entire event takes place on the Washington D.C. map, so you do not need to own the Warlords of New York or Battle For Brooklyn expansions to participate. It is necessary to have a level 40 agent and a good build to take on Krampus and its minions.
How to Find Krampus and Winter Keys in The Division 2 Winter Event 2025

The Winter Event 2025 will have you searching Washington D.C. for packs of Krampuslauf wandering the region. These packs consist of four named enemies that could drop a Krampusnacht bounty when defeated, regardless of global difficulty level. The best option to find them is to simply free roam the city until a pack appears.
The bounty will lead you to the Krampus boss, which will drop the White Krampus Mask and a Winter Key when defeated. The mask is a one-time reward, while the bounty process can be repeated to earn more Winter Keys. These keys can also be earned by defeating the Krampuslauf named enemies, opening containers at the Summit, and opening hidden gifts around Washington D.C.

Winter Keys can be used at the Event Vendor, located outside near the White House entrance, to receive one of three seasonal caches. The Winter Apparel Cache contains holiday cosmetic items exclusively and players will not receive any duplicates. Winter Apparel Keys can be purchased for 100 Premium Credits each, but are optional and for this cache only. The cache includes:

The third cache is called the Winter Community Cache and does not offer loot directly. Instead, selecting this cache will donate your Winter Key towards the Winter Event Community Challenge. The challenge will run during the entirety of the Winter Event 2025 and tasks the community with donating 1 million Winter Keys.

If 1 million Winter Keys are donated during the event, all players will receive the White Krampus Outfit for free. Regardless of success, any player who donates up to 30 Winter Keys will receive a special Arm Patch depending on the number individually donated.
- Donate 10 Winter Keys: Bronze Community Challenge Arm Patch
- Donate 20 Winter Keys: Silver Community Challenge Arm Patch
- Donate 30 Winter Keys: Gold Community Challenge Arm Patch
All players have until the end of the event on Jan. 6, 2026 to collect their Arm Patches and White Krampus Outfit if the Winter Event Community Challenge is successful. You can collect the cosmetic items at any of your personal Stash boxes.
How to Get Julmust Hunter Mask in The Division 2 Winter Event 2025

A new holiday mask called the Julmust has been added alongside the Winter Event 2025 and you can get a chance to earn it by completing Floor 100 of The Summit. It is not a guaranteed drop, so be sure to try matchmaking and join other players who are closer to the top than going through all 100 floors each time.
