Since it is a card game, you need to know how to farm and craft cards to find the best method. Here’s the best way to get rare cards in Bloons Card Storm while tackling the card crafting system too.

The Best Way to Get Cards for Free-to-Play Players in Bloons Card Storm

While there are only a few ways to get cards in Bloons Card Storm, one strategy is best for free-to-play users, and one is good for those willing to pay a little extra to get what they need.

For the free-to-play method, you must do the following tasks consistently:

  • Finish daily and weekly quests at all times
  • Try to achieve feats and milestones for more cash and token rewards
  • Gather as much cash and tokens, including Universal Tokens, as possible.

When you consistently complete these tasks, you’ll maximize your earnings whether you are a free-to-play user or not. The next step is to know where you are spending your hard-earned currency, and this is where the strategy differs.

For free-to-play users, you must look for or create decks that are easy to obtain or build. If you have decks that use expensive cards to craft, this is where you have less freedom because you will need to get lucky.

In the daily store, you’ll notice that specific tokens are being sold, and some random common, uncommon, and rare tokens are also available. The tokens on the bottom are mainly used to craft specific cards, but you spend more in-game money if you choose this route to craft your cards. In fact, buying these specific tokens and waiting for a daily refresh is the best way to craft the cards you want.

However, your best shot at getting good cards as a free-to-play user is to play the odds and use the random common, uncommon, or rare cards instead of tokens. You can use the random rare option, so you always have the chance to get the expensive cards for just 150 cash. However, the rates are still abysmal. If you get an expensive card, that’s what you’ll build a deck around, meaning you aren’t really choosing what deck to play but letting the game do it for you based on your luck.

Buying tokens to craft very specific decks is not free-to-play friendly because of all the types of tokens being thrown around in the game. You’ll rarely get what you need and you’ll spend months of consistent play to get what you want.

The Best Way to Spend Money for Cards in Bloons Card Storm

For players who want to spend a little extra, you can create your own deck by continuously buying specific tokens on the daily shop and buying Universal Tokens to craft the cards you want. Obviously, you don’t want to spend that many Universal Tokens because they aren’t cheap.

However, you can lower the cost by getting more tokens from the shop and as rewards from the daily and weekly missions. You’ll also get some Universal Tokens from the milestones rewards, similar to other Bloons games. There’s also a free 500 Universal Token reward if you finish the Prologue.

The game is a bit pay-to-win because of the crafting system, but this might change when they add more features and maybe a catch-up mechanic in the future to attract more players.
