Additionally, Tempest Rising is finally available to pre-purchase exclusively on Steam with more than one edition to choose from. Tempest Rising Pre-Order Bonus
Players who pre-order Tempest Rising on PC will receive the Commander Pack. This pack includes the following content:

- In-Game Cursors
- Alternative Selection Box

The Standard Edition for Tempest Rising costs $40, but the title supports regional pricing on Steam.
Tempest Rising Deluxe Edition
Players can also pre-order the Deluxe Edition, which is $10 extra and comes with the following additional bonuses apart from the Commander Pack:
- 7 Days Early Access including multiplayer and skirmish modes
- Digital Artbook
- Digital Soundtrack: This includes 43 tracks from legendary Command & Conquer composer Frank Klepacki as well as community favorites like Michael Markie, Hexenkraft, The Witcher composer Adam Skorupa, and Sigurd Jøhnk-Jensen

Tempest Rising Multiplayer Demo
Slipgate Ironworks has released a new demo for Temptest Rising as well, which gives players a taste of the multiplayer component of the upcoming RTS title. To participate, simply hit the “Download” button on the Steam store page of Temptest Rising. It’s not a huge download, and only 11 GB in size. You can provide feedback regarding the demo on the official Discord server.
Tempest Rising Release Date
Tempest Rising is coming exclusively to PC through Steam on April 24, 2025. Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can start playing on April 16/16, 2025.
As a long-time fan of the Command & Conquer series, Tempest Rising is shaping up to be exactly the kind of title I’ve been aching to play for all these years. It has some of the most impressive animation work I’ve seen, and the overall art direction is superb. All their demos so far have been high-quality, and it’s clear that the developers understand what makes this particular franchise and genre so memorable.
