Symphony of Death Destiny 2 Quest Guide – Unlocking the Quest

If you’re looking to unlock the Symphony of Death Destiny 2 quest, then you’re going to have to fulfill the following requirements:

  • Completed the Shadowkeep campaign
  • Talked to Eris Morn
  • Picked up the Memory of Sai Mota quest

Symphony of Death Destiny 2 Quest Guide – Finishing the Questline

The Memory of Sai Mota kicks off what you need to accomplish to pick up the Deathbringer, and you’re going to have to tick these objectives off:

  • Discovering the K1 Communion Lost Sector
  • Discovering the K1 Crew Quarters Lost Sector
  • Discovering the K1 Logistics Lost Sector

Once you’ve found all those three Lost Sectors, you’re then going to have to find another one after turning in the bounty to Eris Morn. You’ll have to take a Data Fragment to the K1 Revelation Lost Sector, and once that’s done, the task will be to kill Nightmares in Sorrow’s Harbor with Arc abilities. Eris will be happy with what you’ve done here, and then task you to do the following after you’ve received a Marrow’s Elegy from her.

After this, the rest of the Symphony of Death Destiny 2 questline is actually pretty simple. You’re going to have to make sure that you carry out these tasks:

  • Finish a Public Event in the Hellmouth
  • Clear out the K1 Revelation Lost Sector
  • Kill a Bone Collector
  • Kill High Conductor Sulmakta (we have a guide for this if you need help)
  • Defeat enemies, elites and mini-bosses, then bosses and other Guardians
  • Finish the Choir of the Damned sub-mission

Once you’ve finished off Choir of the Damned, you’ll have everything you need in order to also complete the Symphony of Death Destiny 2 quest, and to receive the Deathbringer Exotic for yourself. It’s not so much a matter of grinding as it is just being pedantic about checking off the kills that you’re going to need, and it definitely isn’t as tedious as other Exotic weapon quests can be. Need a hand with anything else? We have a guide on picking up the Thorn weapon and finishing the Independent Study quest.
