How to Complete Bulrush Express

To get a 100% completion on Bulrush Express, you’ll need to collect three 10-flower coins, gather three Wonder Seeds, and get the best flagpole grab possible. Since there are two exits, you’ll need to play this course at least twice to collect everything.

In this level, start by descending into the red pipe and grabbing the Wonder Flower. This will trigger a stampede, which you must navigate to complete the course.

Bulrush Express Flower Coin 1

The first coin comes shortly after the first blue ceiling button. It will be floating among the snails on the wall. You can either avoid them and use a power-up like the Parachute Hat or Boosting Spin Jump to collect the coin or use one for an added boost.

Bulrush Express Flower Coin 2

The second coin is found just after the second blue button. Ride the stampede to the opposite side of the chasm after hitting it, but hold off on jumping until you can make it to the lower ledge. Grab the flower coin and quickly jump up and back onto the stampede.

Bulrush Express Flower Coin 3

The last flower coin is above a giant snail, shortly after the section with explosive blocks and yellow barricades. Utilize the large snail for a boost and grab the coin. If the jump is too challenging, you can use a badge to make it easier.

Bulrush Express Wonder Seed 1

The first Wonder Seed comes at the end of the stampede. Once you dismount, follow the red arrow sign, jumping up while avoiding the Bulrush on the ledges. The Wonder Seed is at the very top.

After obtaining the first Wonder Seed, proceed through the red tube, which leads to the first exit. Carefully take out the large snail on the ledge just before the flagpole, and then utilize it for your final jump. This will transform your building and reward you with your second Wonder Seed.

Bulrush Express Wonder Seed 3

Bulrush Express is one of seven maps featuring a hidden exit, which leads to an additional Wonder Seed. To access this second exit and obtain the third seed, head to the end of the bulrush stampede. You’ll need the elephant or drill power-up to get past a row of blocks, unveiling an alternate golden pipe.

This pipe will transport you to a new area. Jump onto the lone Bulrush above the stone spikes and ride it across the gap. It will jump before it falls into a hole. While it’s doing that, you need to time your own jump to reach the flagpole on the opposite side, earning you the final Wonder Seed.

Gathering all these items means you’ve fully completed Bulrush Express and now have access to a new area. Completing these courses will eventually lead you to one of the entrances to the Special World.

With this course behind you, you can move on to one of the other Super Mario Bros. Wonder courses with secret exits.
