Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Navigation Abilities

You may have noticed that certain parts of the world were inaccessible to you upon first encounter. Maybe it was a cliff that you were unable to climb up, or an impassable body of water. Well, no need to fret. The game eventually gives you the tools to explore all of these set pieces to your heart’s content. We’ll explain how you get each one below and also tell you how you’ll happen across them:

There are two particular navigation abilities that you’ll unlock as part of the main campaign:

  • Climbing Claws – you’re going to get this on Dathomir, and in pursuit of the creature known as Gorgara. If you keep your eyes peeled for this monster’s previous victims, you’ll see a Nightbrother who possesses these climbing claws. Since he’s dead, well, better liberate them for yourself. Congratulations, ain’t no mountain high enough to stop you now!
  • Underwater Breathing – kick around Kashyyyk for a bit and you’ll notice that cracking into the Shadowlands will grant you with an underwater breather. You’ll have to speak to Mari for this, but you’ll acquire one as part of the story so there’s no need to go out of your way. Now, you too can traverse bodies of water without fear of drowning. Rad!

Now that you’ve got our guide to the Fallen Order navigation abilities, it should be easy for you to pick them up and to go back to areas that you might have missed out on previously.
