KRAFTON is now dipping its toes into the genre as well with the announcement of PUBG: Black Budget, a first-person tactical extraction shooter with a closed alpha test starting soon.

Here is how you can sign up for the Closed Alpha Test for PUBG: Black Budget to try out the game and provide feedback to the developers.

To sign up for the PUBG: Black Budget Closed Alpha Test, head over to its official Steam store page and click on the Request Access button:

If you’re selected for the playtest, you will receive a confirmation email, and the playtest copy will be added to your Steam library.

Here are a few more facts confirmed about the upcoming Playtest:

• Regions: North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Supported Languages: English, Korean, Chinese, and Russian.
• Mode: FPP only.
• Platform: PC only (through Steam).

The main focus of the test revolves around early-game systems, combat pacing, extraction balance, and player progression. Since this is an alpha release, bugs and technical issues are to be expected.

The playtest will be available for two weeks during the weekend in December:

• Week 1: December 12, 2025 (Fri) 01:00 ~ December 14 (Sun) 23:59 PST
• Week 2: December 19, 2025 (Fri) 01:00 ~ December 21 (Sun) 23:59 PST

So around six days in total.

There will be no NDA for this playtest, and you’re allowed to stream, record, and share gameplay. Additionally, when the test goes live, you’ll have the opportunity to earn a guaranteed invite through Twitch and Chzzk through drops.
