Should You Save Tommie or Kill Fiona in Cyberpunk 2077? – Answered

End of the Academy

One of the most interesting Gig quests in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is “Talent Academy” and by the end of it, you need to decide whether you help Tommie or kill Fiona. For me, there was only one clear choice. Here’s whether you should save Tommie or kill Fiona in Cyberpunk 2077.

Should You Kill Fiona in Cyberpunk 2077?

The short answer is yes, you should kill Fiona at the end of the Talent Academy mission. In terms of loot, you won’t get much that you couldn’t already take as you explored the office. However, it’s pretty clear that the “good” decision is to take Fiona out entirely. Although her offer makes the decision more difficult.

When you get to her office, you still need to download all her client info to expose global tax evasion. Fiona will confront you as you speak to Tommie and ask what you want. Of course, you need some kind of info for Mr. Hands to complete the Gig, but she offers an alternative. If you only use some small amounts of data, Fiona will ensure that Tommie gets a good team spot and lives.

While that sounds great on paper, It’s clear that any of the children who don’t make a team end up dying a fairly early death due to not being able to pay for Cyberware upkeep. Most children will never get a spot, and that means most children will eventually suffer the same fate as Tommie. In my eyes, letting the Sports Scouts continue operating meant far more evil was allowed to happen.

If you kill Fiona, you can also freely search the entire area. Mr. Hands gets what he wants and you can loot to your heart’s content. It’s a winning situation for most of the people involved.
