Should You Pick Team Cece Or Team Reede in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)?

Cece or Reede? The choice is yours.

After discovering Hateno Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you quickly discover that a battle is raging behind the scenes. While it looks familiar, there seems to be a fungus among us, as the town is suddenly covered in mushrooms. There’s a reason for this new outbreak of spores in town, and it’s all thanks to Cece, the fashionista. While Reede may not approve of it and tries to enact his Mayorly duties to stop her before the town is fully overrun, she does the unthinkable and challenges him to an Election to become the new mayor of Hateno Village. But which side should you take?

Team Cece or Team Reede In Tears of the Kingdom – Which To Pick

No matter which candidate you support, you can only select one specific candidate to progress the story. If you select “A Reede Voter“, you’ll see the full wrath of Cece. You almost get kicked out of her shop, as well, but her sister won’t allow it. So, within the illusion of choice, you’ll have no option other than choosing “A Cece Voter”.

After selecting this option, you’ll be put on another quest to persuade Reede voters to become Cece voters, before digging up a bit of dirt on both of the candidates. Turns out, they really don’t have too many differences after all. But, just know no matter the choice you make, you’ll be stuck with one option over the other either way. Doesn’t seem truly diplomatic, does it?

While you’re here, make sure that you check out the Hateno Pasture, which is just a nice little scenic detour while you’re on your adventure to save Hyrule. Tears of the Kingdom has once again put the main story on the back burner by offering us plenty of content to sink our teeth into.
