Risk of Rain 2 Seeker Revive Skill Explained

Seek Grass!

Seeker is one of the new survivors in Risk of Rain 2 as part of the Survivors of the Storm expansion. She’s a fairly unique character with a focus on mid-range brawling and AOE attacks, and she provides a healthy dose of healing to herself and the entire team. Seeker is also the first character to revive teammates in Risk of Rain 2, and this is how the ability works.

Seeker Revive Skill Explained in Risk of Rain 2

The Seeker can revive teammates by gaining stacks of Tranquility using her Meditate ability. Once she reaches six stacks, the next stack, the seventh and final stack will revive teammates across the map.

You can only use the revive ability once per stage, so keep that in mind. The Meditate ability itself will continue to be usable even after you have seven stacks, but revive is limited to once per stage.

Her default special ability is Medidate, which has multiple uses. Correctly executing the timed sequence will blast enemies in its range for 450% damage, heal nearby allies and herself, and gain a stack of Tranquility.

So, to summarize, here are the facts about the revive ability and Tranquility stack of Seeker:

  • Using Meditate grants you a stack of Tranquility
    • Each stack of Tranquility boosts your skills in one form or another
  • When you reach the sixth stack of Tranquility, stop using Meditate
  • If you have enough downed teammates, you can now use Meditate to gain the seventh and final stack of Tranquility which will revive any downed teammates across the map.
  • You don’t need to be near the teammates to revive them; it works across the map.
  • The revive can only be used once per stage.
  • You can continue using Meditate even when you have reached max stacks; you just can’t revive anymore.
  • The seventh stack of Tranquility also grants Saving Grace, which will boost your and your allies’ HP to around half if it falls below a certain point (we’re assuming it’s around 20-25%).
  • You can’t self-revive. If you have max stacks, you’ll just die if you have already received Saving Grace.

We hope this explains everything about the revive ability. While the Seeker is unlocked from the start, the Chef requires a bit more work to unlock in Risk of Rain 2 Seekers of the Storm.
