Players will find that the Ribbon Eel will spawn in the sea, so those interested in obtaining this aquatic creature will need to visit the sea surrounding on your island or someone else’s island. However, players can not find these creatures in the sea at any time of the year. The Ribbon Eel will spawn in the sea between December and April in the Southern Hemisphere. Animal Crossing: New Horizons players in the Northern Hemisphere will be able to encounter and catch the Ribbon Eel between June and October.

It is also important to note that this creature will spawn at any time of the day. This spawning schedule means that players do not have to set aside some dedicated time during a specific period of time if they want to have a chance at catching one of these critters in the sea.

You will find that this aquatic creature is small, which means those looking to catch a Ribbon Eel will need to focus on small shadow sizes when fishing in the sea. This particular creature is worth a total of 600 Bells, so players can acquire a large amount of Bells if they gather and sell enough of these creatures.

There is no doubt that players can reap some benefits by taking the time to search out and catch these creatures in the sea surrounding their island.
