Lady Dimitrescu??

Resident Evil Requiem is launching next year on PC and current-generation consoles, and CAPCOM has now opened pre-orders for the latest entry in the mainline series today.

Here is everything you’ll receive for pre-ordering Resident Evil Requiem, what comes with the deluxe edition, and the pricing for each version.

Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Order Bonus

If you pre-order Resident Evil Requiem, you will receive the Apocalypse Costume for Grace:

There is no guarantee that the outfit will be limited to pre-orders only, as the store mentions that it may also be available for purchase at a later date. It’s purely cosmetic and doesn’t provide any in-game gameplay advantages.

Resident Evil Requiem Digital Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil Requiem includes the following content:

  • Five costumes, including Grace’s Costume: Dimitrescu
  • Two filters, including Filter: Apocalypse
  • Four weapon skins, including S&S M232 Weapon Skin: Apocalypse
  • Two charms, including Charm: Mr. Raccoon
  • Audio Pack: Raccoon City Classic
  • Files: Letters from 1998

For an additional $10, you’re getting a bunch of neat items, in my opinion. The main draw for me is the five additional outfits for Grace, especially the one based on Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village. The filter is also a nice touch, and from the small screenshot, it seems to dramatically change the look of the game.

I’m very interested to see what the other outfits look like, and given CAPCOM’s history, especially with the Resident Evil 4 Remake, I’m willing to bet that each costume will have a very distinct look and feel.

Overall, the standardized $70 price tag for a new mainline Resident Evil title was expected, and I’m excited to see what CAPCOM has in store for us next year. They are still keeping a lot of things under wraps, and it’s a great way to build up suspense for the highly anticipated release.
