AttacksDescription
Ball BladesAlepsis Taura approaches you after transforming into a giant ball with blades circling around it. The boss performs two-hit sweep attack and then returns back into its original form. Dodge the blades when these are about to strike you to avoid getting hit.
AoE Dark Light WaveThe boss casts four walls around itself as it rises into the air, then slams into the ground, releasing a Dark Light Wave that spans the entire room. After a brief delay, each wall sends out a vertical light wave, followed by a Dark Light Wave returning to the walls at the end of the attack. To avoid this, dodge roll through the first wave and stay out of the vertical line of sight of the walls. Then, roll away from the boss to evade the returning Dark Light Wave.
DuplicatesAlepsis Taura creates duplicates that float at fixed points in the air. Each duplicate casts a cylindrical shadow light below it, and entering this shadow significantly reduces your movement speed, making it easier for the boss to hit you. Be sure to avoid stepping into these shadow areas.
Projectile RingsThe boss morphs into a larger circular form with rings forming around it. These rings are fired in both vertical and horizontal patterns. Timing your dodge rolls carefully will allow you to evade these attacks.
Tentacle Slam and Sweep AttackAlepsis Taura approaches you after transforming into a giant ball with blades circling around it. The boss performs a two-hit sweep attack and then returns into its original form. Dodge the blades when these are about to strike you to avoid getting hit.
Homing ProjectilesWhen the boss’s health drops to 70% or less, it transforms again, becoming larger than the arena with tentacles surrounding it. The boss launches homing yellow projectiles from above, and continuously running left or right will help you dodge them.
Projectile WallThe boss also conjures a wall of light that extends from its location toward the edge of the arena. If this wall reaches you, it will deal damage, so be sure to avoid it by dodge rolling towards it.

How to Beat Alepsis Taura Boss in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon

Alepsis Taura is the final boss in The Dark Horizon DLC of Remnant 2. You must come prepared with the best weapons, armor, rings, skills, and weapon mods to beat this boss.

The boss arena is a large, circular platform suspended in the air. While the risk of falling off is low, you can still accidentally plummet to your death if you dodge roll too far without paying attention to your positioning. Falling off results in an instant death and a restart of the boss fight.

Using a Long Gun, like Deceit, as your primary weapon will prove efficient. This lets you deal significant damage from a distance since the boss rarely comes close enough for melee attacks. Close- or medium-range weapons won’t be as effective; only ranged weapons will be useful here.

If you are playing in a party, beating the boss will be much easier than defeating the boss solo. That is because if you are down while playing solo, you will die unless you have the Dog from the Handler Archetype with you that can revive, so you continue the boss fight.

The boss’s attacks hit hard, so always keep an eye on your health. Don’t hesitate to retreat and heal before re-engaging. Blood Root consumables will passively restore your health during the fight, so make sure you have plenty of these items available with you before starting the boss fight.

The center part of the Alepsis Taura is the weak spot, so make sure you land your shots at the center for maximum damage per hit.

Take advantage of these strategies we have mentioned above and you will beat Alepsis Taura easier in Remnant 2.
