Red Dead Redemption 2 Chick’s Treasure Map Guide
First things first, you’re going to want to actually get your mitts on Chick’s Treasure Map. You’re going to need it to find the treasure, obviously. To access Chick’s map, you’re going to have completed the main story quest called Money Lending and Other Sins first – this means you’ll have to be in Chapter 2 at least.
Chick features in that mission in particular, and you’ll have to ask a stranger about him. Once you’ve done so, he’s going to make a run for it and you’ll have to give chase. Make sure that your lasso skills are on point – snag this lad and you’ll be able to forcefully get him to hand his map over.
Once you get the map from Chick, you’ll find that he’s hastily scrawled down some directions to a tree. Yeah, he’s not exactly a treasure-hiding mastermind. This tree is by Heartland Overflow, and it’s a gigantic hollowed out trunk that you can’t miss. It’s going to have a circle marking the spot, and it’s pretty noticeable. Dig around inside this hole and you’ll receive the grand prize of Chick’s Debt Money, amounting to a grand total of $35. That might not seem like a lot but honestly, it’s nothing to sneeze at when you’re a cowboy trying to make do.
