While Bethesda is probably best known for games like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls – games that take so long to complete you’d need to quit your job – they do occasionally release something on the shorter side of things. Rage 2 is very much on the shorter side of things clocking in at somewhere between 8 and 12 hours depending on how you play the game.

Granted, if you decide to do absolutely everything available to you then this is extended a bit, but players who just like to blitz through the story could easily do it over the course of a weekend. There are eight main missions to complete for the story itself, though some of these do have multiple parts.

While there are side quests, Roadblocks, and Bandit Dens to take down as well, you may find yourself underwhelmed by the length of Rage 2. Of course, those who don’t have the time to play through an 80-hour epic will be happy to see a game that can be finished in a more reasonable time. Anyone looking for their next odyssey may be disappointed by the length of the game.
