Pond Smelt Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Players will find that the Pond Smelt will spawn in the rivers, so those interested in obtaining this aquatic creature will need to visit the rivers on their island or someone else’s island. However, players can not find these creatures in a river at any time of the year. The Pond Smelt will spawn in the ocean between December and February in the Northern Hemisphere. Animal Crossing: New Horizons players in the Southern Hemisphere will be able to begin to encounter and catch the Pond Smelt in June and through August.
It is also important to note that this creature will spawn at any time of the day. Players can encounter and catch Pond Smelt anytime they want. This spawning schedule means that players will not have to set aside some dedicated time during a specific period if they want to have a chance at catching one of these critters in the ocean.
You will find that this aquatic creature is small, which means those looking to catch Pond Smelt will need to focus on small shadow sizes when fishing in the sea. This particular creature is worth a total of 1,000 Bells, so players can acquire a large amount of Bells if they gather and sell one of these creatures.
There is no doubt that players can reap some benefits by taking the time to search out and catch these fish in the ocean surrounding their island.
