Straight off the back of today’s Pokemon Direct, we’ve been gifted with a long line of Legendary Pokemon that will be added to the game when the latest Pokemon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra and Isle of Armor DLC are released. We’re going to see a return of the Legendary Titans of Hoenn along with some other familiar faces, so here’s what we know about the Pokemon Sword and Shield Regis.
Pokemon Sword and Shield Regis – What We Know
If you missed out on the announcement trailer showcasing all the different Pokemon that are being reintroduced as part of the expansion of the ‘dex in the upcoming Sword and Shield DLC, then we’ve got it below for you to check out.
As you can see, not only are we getting some legacy Legendaries introduced, we’re also apparently going to get a full trio of the Pokemon Sword and Shield Regis based on the titans that we already know, along with two new Regi Pokemon. The designs that we’ve seen so far for the new Regis looks pretty spectacular – we already feel like they’ve been conceptualized to slot into each DLC’s new environments or even into each version of the game so we’re keen to see how they will be introduced overall into the Galar ecosystem. The red versus blue color scheme of the new Regis appears to suggest that one might be for Pokemon Shield and the other for Pokemon Sword, but that remains to be officially confirmed by Game Freak.
Now that you’ve got a little bit more information about the Pokemon Sword and Shield Regis, why not hazard a guess at how they’re going to be implemented? One per game, like the version-exclusive Farfetch’d that evolves into one of the best Pokemon of the gen? One per expansion? Or are we going to get a flood of all five of them at once?
