Pokemon Sword and Shield Blipbug – Everything You Need to Know

The highly anticipated titles of Pokemon Sword and Shield are now available for players across the world to enjoy on their Nintendo Switches. The new generation of games for the legendary franchise has brought a plethora of new creatures for trainers to catch and use in battles. One of these unique creatures is Blipbug. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about the new character of Blipbug covered for you.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Blipbug

Blipbug is a Bug-type who will evolve into Dottler at level 10. Players will the bests success using Flying, Rock, and Fire-types in a battle against this character. 

This particular character also a second evolution called Orbettle, which occurs at level 30. The creature of Blibug has the abilities of Swarm or Compound Eyes. Telepathy is the hidden ability of Blipbug that allows it to dodge damaging moves from its allies. Unfortunately, this does not protect it from the status moves of allies.

Players can find Blipbug at the locations of Route 2, Giant’s Cap, and Slumbering Weald in the Galar Region. This particular creature will likely be one of the first ones you encounter on your travels through the Galar Region and would make an excellent addition to your team.
