Pokemon GO’s Incense Day event is back for October and this month the focus is on Skorupi! Skorupi is a Posion/Bug dual type Pokemon which was originally introduced in the mainline games with the release of Generation IV. With the spooky season officially here, it seems like no better time than to feature this creepy scorpion-like Pokemon. And so, here is everything that you need to know about Pokemon GO’s October Incense Day.

Pokemon GO’s October Incense Day Event Details

October is flying by! So, it is no surprise that this month’s Incense Day is fast approaching. Here are all of the details that you need to make sure that you are best prepared for Skorupi’s Incense Day!

Event Date and Time

October’s Pokemon GO Incense Day featuring Skorupi will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

The following Pokemon will be the featured Pokemon for the duration of the event.

Incense Encounter Times

For the duration of the event, Bug and Poison Pokemon will be attracted to a player’s incense. Each hour the typing will switch. So, you can encounter Bug Pokemon for an hour, and the next Poison.

Tip:

The below times schedule will be the time that each Pokemon type will appear in your local time zone.

Here are the times in which you can encounter each Pokemon type via Incense.

  • Bug-type Pokemon – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Poison-type Pokemon – 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Bug-type Pokemon – 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Poison-type Pokemon – 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m
  • Bug-type Pokemon – 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m
  • Poison-type Pokemon – 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m

The following Pokemon will be encountered using Incense for the duraction of the event.

Field Research Task Encounters

For the duration of the event, trainers will be able to encounter specific Pokemon as a reward for completing event specific Field Research Tasks. These will be obtained via spinning PokeStops during the event period.

This research will ask trainers to complete tasks such as capturing Bug and Poison type Pokemon, and will offer rewards such as Skorupi encounters, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and more.

Event Bundle

For the duration of the event, trainers will be able to access the in-app shop to purchase an Incense bundle worth 1 PokeCoin.

That’s all there is to this October’s Pokemon GO Incense Day! Skorupi has a rather interesting looking shiny variant, as it is bright red! So, it’s worthwhile getting out there and seeing if you can catch one for yourself! Maybe you can even pick up some Zygarde Cells along the way.
