Pokemon GO Weather Week: Date and Time, Event Bonuses, and More

Weather Week is back, and what better timing than with the seasons changing? The weather is beginning to warm up, and it’s time to get outside and enjoy the latest event in Pokemon GO. Just cross your fingers that your local weather is varied this week!

Pokemon GO Weather Week Event Details

Weather Week is back in Pokemon GO, and as usual, it focuses on specific Pokemon spawns that change with your local weather and boosted Castform encounters.

Event Date and Time

Pokemon GO’s Weather Week will begin on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM to Monday, March 18, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time.

Wild Pokemon Encounters

The following Pokemon will be able to be found in Pokemon GO during Weather Week. Certain Pokemon will only spawn during periods of specific weather.

Event Bonuses

The following bonuses will be active for the duration of Weather Week in Pokemon GO

  • Trainers will receive additional Stardust when catching weather-boosted Pokemon.
  • Trainers will receive 2X Stardust for catching Pokemon.
  • Trainers will be more likely to encounter a shiny Castform.

Collection Challenges

During Weather Week trainers will be able to participate in Collection Challenges which have a heavy weather theme. Completing these challenges will reward trainers with the following:

  • Collection Challenge medal
  • 1 Incense
  • Stardust

PokeStop Showcases

During Weather Week there will be PokeStop Showcases hosted in your local area at various PokeStops that will feature different weather-based Pokemon. Makes sure that you enter in as many as possible for more of a chance to win, and to work your way towards Pikachu, Ph.D.

Not only is March bringing a change of weather and weather-based events in Pokemon GO, but trainers will also get to participate in Litten’s Community Day and the Primal Raid Days!
