Pokemon GO Litten Community Day Event Details

Say Alola to Litten! Introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon, this moody kitten evolves into Torracat, and then finally, Incineroar, a Fire/Dark Pokemon. It has a fun shiny variant, so hopefully, luck will be on your side during Litten Community Day in Pokemon GO.

Event Date and Time

The Pokemon GO Litten Community Day will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

The Pokemon featured this Community Day will be Litten. Expect to see swarms of Litten spawning, and hopefully encounter it in its shiny form.

Featured Attack and Availability Changes

During Community Day and the five hours immediately afterward, evolving a Pokemon into its final evolution will allow it to learn an exclusive Featured Attack. During Litten’s Community Day, you can evolve Torracat into Incineroar to obtain an Incineroar with the following Charged Attack.

Blast Burn

  • Trainer Battles: 110 power
  • Gyms and raids: 110 power

Once Community Day goes live there will also be a chance to Incineroar’s move pool as it will now be able to learn the following Charged Attack.

Darkest Lariat

  • Trainer Battles: 120 power
  • Gyms and raids: 80 power

The following event bonuses will be active for the duration of March’s Pokemon GO Community Day.

Post Community Day Raid Battles

Community Day Special Research Story

Trainers will be able to participate in a Community Day Special Research Story for $1 USD or the equivalent in their local currency.

Whilst the list of rewards has yet to be revealed, if previous Community Day Special Research Stories are anything to go by, trainers can expect to receive rewards such as additional Litten encounters, Litten Candy, additional items, Stardust, and XP.

Community Day Stickers

Trainers will be able to obtain adorable Litten-themed Community Day Stickers by the following means:

  • Purchasing them directly from the in-game shop.

PokeStop Showcases

Trainers will be able to find PokeStop Showcase events at various PokeStop locations during the event period. Select your best Litten and hope that it emerges victorious. It’s worthwhile doing with new rewards such as Pikachu, Ph.D.

If you’re all fired up and ready for Litten’s Community Day this March, I can’t blame you. My personal favorite starter from the Alola region and its shiny form is particularly nice. In the meantime, there’s also the Charged-Up Research Day event to prepare yourself for.
