Just in time for the Slowpoke Community Day later in the week, the Psychic Cup Great League Edition has gone live for the Pokemon GO Battle League. Specialized cups are always welcome on the PvP side of the game, and per usual, Trainers will want the best picks possible.

As the game continues to change or add new Pokemon, the meta in each cup will have a different look. It’s easy to get lost in all the changes, but we have you covered. Our guide will cover the rules for the Psychic Cup GL and what the best picks are so your team can succeed.

Best Picks for the Psychic Cup GL Edition in Pokemon GO

There are only a few rules to follow this time around. Of course, every Pokemon has to be at 1,500 CP or less to stay in line with the Great League CP cap. Each pick in the cup must also be a Psychic-type, but dual types are still allowed. The only Pokemon that is banned is Mew. Below, you can find ten of the best picks and the moves suited for them.

Pokemon GO Psychic Cup Picks:

When you’re choosing which Pokemon you’ll use for your Psychic Cup team, keep in mind that synergy is important. You’ll need a good lead that can burn shields, a defensive pick to soak up attacks, and a closer to finish the job in the Pokemon GO Battle League.
