Pokemon GO Pokemon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event Details
New Pokemon news and events are always exciting! The most recent Pokemon Presents did not disappoint, and thanks to this upcoming event, Pokemon GO trainers will have the opportunity to catch some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan favorites.
Event Date and Time
The Pokemon GO Pokemon Horizons: The Series event will begin on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Debut Pokemon
The following Pokemon will make their official Pokemon GO debut during the Pokemon Horizons: The Series event.

How to Evolve Charcadet in Pokemon GO
As Charcadet has two different evolutions, it is no surprise that Niantic included differing requirements to evolve it into either Armarouge or Ceruledge. Fortunately, both evolution requirements are straightforward.
- To evolve Charcadet into Armarouge – Make Charcadet your Buddy Pokemon and defeat 30 Psychic Pokemon.
- To evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge – Make Charcadet your Buddy Pokemon and defeat 30 Ghost Pokemon.
Note: You do not need to use Charcadet to battle the Pokemon. It only needs to be your Buddy Pokemon.

Featured Attack
All Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat that are caught will know a Featured Attack that is completely new to Pokemon GO.
Volt Tackle
- Trainer Battles: 90 power and decreases Defense by 1.
- Gyms and raids: 90 power.
Surprise Encounters
Trainers who take Snapshots during the event will potentially be rewarded with Snapshots that include both Pokemon and other characters from the Pokemon Horizons: The Series anime.
Event Egg Pool
The following Pokemon has the potential to hatch out of Eggs during the event period.

During the event period, various PokeStops will be hosting PokeStop Showcases where trainers can enter specific event-themed Pokemon to compete.

The Ultra Legend Box will be available for purchase from the Pokemon GO Web Store for $14.99 USD to allow trainers to be as prepared as possible for the vent. It includes the following items:
- 3 Remote Raid Passes.
- 10 Premium Battle Passes.
- 10 Incubators.
