Pokemon GO players will soon have the opportunity to encounter Pokemon from the Scarlet and Violet Pokemon games. During Pokemon GO Fest 2023, trainers all around the world worked together towards the Ultra Unlock bonuses for the ‘A Paldean Adventure’ event. With Paldean Pokemon now confirmed to be arriving soon, they’ve pushed past Galarian Pokemon to be the next new region of Pokemon released in-game.

The Pokemon GO A Paldean Adventure event will run from Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Ultra Unlock: A Paldean Adventure Event Bonuses

  • Players will receive 4X XP for catching Pokemon.
  • Players will receive 4X Stardust for catching Pokemon.
  • PokeStops have a chance at turning gold without an active Golden Lure.
  • Players have a chance to spin non-golden PokeStops and receive Gimmighoul coins.

Adventures Abound Special Research

A new Special Research will be available for free from Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, December 1, 2023, at 9:59 a.m. local time.

The research titled Pokémon GO: Adventures Abound will allow you to choose a Paldean starter Pokemon and bond with it during your adventures.

Note: There will also be Timed Research which will reward players with Lechonk encounters.

PokeStop Showcase and Collection Challenge

During the duration of the event, you will be able to enter Lechonk in PokeStop Showcases.

During the event you will be able to participate in Paldea-themed Collection Challenges which will reward Stardust and Lechonk encounters.

As a celebration of the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, Pokemon GO players will be able to buy the following The Teal Mask themed avatar items from September 13, 2023.

  • Paldea Sandals (Kitakami)

The latest Pokemon GO event, A Paldean Adventure allows players to catch Paldean Pokemon for the first and is an event that should not be missed.
