The world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a variety of creatures that players can encounter and catch. Some of these unique creatures are found in aquatic environments, with one of them being the Oarfish. This fish would be an excellent addition to the collection of any player. Oarfish Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Players will find that the Oarfish will spawn in the sea, so those interested in obtaining this aquatic creature will need to visit the sea surrounding on your island or someone else’s island. However, players can not find these creatures in the sea at any time of the year. The Oarfish will spawn in the sea between June and November in the Southern Hemisphere. Animal Crossing: New Horizons players in the Northern Hemisphere will be able to encounter and catch an Oarfish between December and May. 

It is also important to note that this creature will spawn at any time of the day. This spawning schedule means that players do not have to set aside some dedicated time during a specific period of time if they want to have a chance at catching one of these critters in the sea. 

 Oarfish Animal Crossing New Horizons

You will find that this aquatic creature is large, which means those looking to catch an Oarfish will need to focus on large shadow sizes when fishing in the sea. This particular creature is worth a total of 9,000 Bells if sold to Nook and 13,500 if sold to CJ, so players can acquire a large amount of Bells if they gather and sell one of these creatures.

There is no doubt that players can reap some benefits by taking the time to search out and catch these creatures in the ea surrounding their island.
