One more of these for today. During the Animal Crossing Direct, Nintendo announced a new, paid DLC for Animal Crossing New Horizons. Called Happy Home Paradise, this DLC involves traveling to a resort island and working as a home design consultant for vacationing visitors.
It launches on November 5, 2021 and comes with a $25 price tag.
Paid DLC Happy Home Paradise Coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons
The DLC is pretty expansive, introducing a number of new items, features and even mechanics to the game. As you continue doing the work and building new kinds of resort homes for visitors, you unlock more and more options.
Then, you can take these techniques and items back to your own island to make your home even fancier.

This includes new furniture, new interior items such as partition walls and polishing furniture for added special effects. As you work on the resort island you’ll also be tasked with designing “vacant” buildings, setting up things like schools, hospitals and restaurants for the tourists to use.
Working earns you a unique currency for the resort island, which you can turn around for rare furniture and other items to bring back to your own home. It’s quite a lot considering it’s the first paid DLC.
