New Pokemon Snap | How to Light All 6 Crystablooms in Ruins of Remembrance

The location of all six Crystablooms and how to light them all using Illumina Orbs in New Pokemon Snap.

Towards the end of the New Pokemon Snap campaign, you’ll be given the opportunity to explore the Ruins of Remembrance course. In the ruins, you’ll find a number of different Crystablooms and you’ll need to light all of these in order to progress forward to the final Illumina Spot.

New Pokemon Snap | How to Light All 6 Crystablooms in Ruins of Remembrance

In the Ruins course, you’ll need to light 6 Crystablooms in order to progress forward to the Illumina Spot where you photograph the final Illumina Pokemon. While many of these Crystablooms are easy to spot, there are a few that require some creative thinking in order to find and illuminate.

To help make things easier, we have photos of each Crystabloom that you need to light up in the Ruins course of New Pokemon Snap, and instructions on how to access each Crystabloom in regards to the ones that are blocked by Pokemon.

Crystabloom #1 – Ruins of Remembrance

The first Crystabloom can be found immediately to your bottom left as you enter the main ruins area. It’s near the blue statue, and you’ll also see a Houndoom next to it as you enter the ruins area.

Crystabloom #2 – Ruins of Remembrance

The second Crystabloom can be found immediately to your right as you pass the first Crystabloom. This Crystabloom is next to the red statue and is unobstructed, making it easy to toss an Illumina Orb at it.

Crystabloom #3 – Ruins of Remembrance

The third Crystabloom is hidden to the left of the purple statue. As you pass the purple statue, look for the Crystabloom hidden between a cluster of large rocks.

Don’t get distracted by Pokemon here as this Crystabloom can be easy to miss if you miss your window of opportunity to throw an Illumina Orb at it.

Crystabloom #4 – Ruins of Remembrance

The fourth Crystabloom is the first obstructed one in the Ruins course as it’s hidden by a group of Eldegoss next to the yellow statue. To gain access to this Crystabloom, you’ll first need to get the Eldegoss to move.

We played Music by pressing R and also tossed a Fluffruit their way for good measure to get them to disperse. It’ll take the Eldegoss some time to move, so be patient and keep an eye on the Crystabloom for a clear shot at it.

Crystabloom #5 – Ruins of Remembrance

Like the fourth Crystabloom, the fifth Crystabloom is obstructed by a Pokemon, this time by a Golurk with a Natu sleeping on its shoulder. The fifth Crystabloom is located right behind Golurk, and to toss an Illumina Orb at it you’ll first need to get Golurk to move.

To do this, we played Music by pressing R to wake up Natu and get it off Golurk’s shoulder. After that, Golurk should begin to move (slowly). If it doesn’t, try throwing a Fluffruit or Illumina Orb at it.

Note that the Illumina Orb seems to temporarily freeze Golurk if it’s in the middle of walking so don’t keep throwing Illumina Orbs or Fluffruit at it if it’s already moving. Once it’s far enough away from the Crystabloom, throw an Illumina Orb at it to light it up.

Crystabloom #6 – Ruins of Remembrance

The sixth and final Crystabloom is found towards the end of the course surrounded by other Crystablooms. The one you want to throw an Illumina Orb at is the golden/yellow one smack dab in the middle of the Crystablooms that isn’t lit up like the others.

When done correctly, you’ll be teleported to the Illumina Spot where you’ll be able to photograph the last Illumina Pokemon. If you miss a Crystabloom, no worries you can always retry the course and use RT to make the NEO-ONE move faster to get you right back to the main Ruins area.
