It is officially spooky season folks, and you know what that means. Players from across the world will be looking to get their horror fix and dive into the latest set of terrifying worlds the video game industry has to offer. We here at Prima Games also love our horror games. With this in mind, we have gathered together five of the most anticipated horror games that will be coming soon to scare the living hell out of you.

The Beast Inside

Players will be controlling the character of CIA cryptanalyst Adam in The Beast Inside. Adam has moved to the countryside in the year 1979 with his wife Emma to have a peaceful place to complete his work of cracking a military code that could alter the very course of the Cold War. However, after finding the diary of Nicolas Hyde, a past resident of the home from the 19th century, mysterious threats from the past appear and threaten Adam and Emma in this survival horror title. 

The Beast Inside releases on October 17th for PC. 

Chernobylite

This science-fiction horror game will see players play as a physicist who is an ex-employee of the Chernobyl power plant. You will have to survive terrifying threats in the game’s contamination zone on your search for your partner, who has mysteriously disappeared. 

Chernobylite releases on October 16th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. 

Moons of Madness

Players will play as engineer Shane Newehart in this space horror title. Shane is stationed on the Mars research outpost of Trailblazer Alpha and must face the horrors of isolation and a variety of other terrifying threats. However, his entire team has gone missing, and his only hope of rescue is hundreds of thousands of miles away. 

Moons of Madness releases on Halloween 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. 

Someday You’ll Return

Being a parent is hard, and Someday You’ll Return puts players into one of the most terrifying situations a parent could experience. You will play as Daniel, who is a father trying to find his daughter Stela, who keeps running away. Your latest search for Stela sends Daniel into ancient Moravian forests where things that should have been kept buried resurface in this psychological horror game. 

Someday You’ll Return releases in on a to be announced date in 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. 

The Last of Us Part II

There is no denying that plenty of players are excited to get their hands on The Last of Us Part II when it releases early next year. The sequel will see players play as Ellie, who embarks on a quest for justice and revenge when a violent event rocks her world five years after the events of the first game. Along with Joel, Ellie will face plenty of threats from the infected and fellow survivors in her newest adventure. 

The Last of Us Part II releases on February 21st, 2020, for the PlayStation 4.
