How to Get the Quest

You can acquire this quest by talking to the Meowscular Chef in Astera. He’ll ask you to seek out two Wyvern Eggs and bring them back to him. This quest is a Level 4 quest, though, so you may not see it appear on your map until after you have reached Hunter Rank 4. Once you’ve acquired the quest, it’s time to start off on your next journey.

How to Complete Gettin’ Yolked in the Forest

Now that you have the quest it’s time to head out to the Ancient Forest and look around for these items. If you’ve been trying to complete the quest, then you might think that it’s complicated. The truth, though is that the quest isn’t hard at all—so long as you know what you’re doing. We’d suggest starting off at the Ancient Forest Camp in Section 17, and then you’ll want to head straight to Sector 16, where you should find the Wyvern Egg in the bottom right-hand corner of the area.

The easiest way to get your hands on the Wyvern Egg is going to be to make use of your Ghillie Mantle. You receive this pretty early on in the game, and it will make you invisible to monsters for a good deal of time. This will then allow you to grab the Wyvern Egg and run your way back to camp without being seen. Once back at camp, drop the Wyvern Egg off at the Supply Box and then head back out. Make sure you give your Ghillie Mantle time to cooldown, as it most likely won’t keep you hidden long enough for two runs to get the eggs that you need.

When your Ghillie Mantle is cooled down, head back out and repeat the process again. Grab the egg, activate your mantle, and then rush back to camp and drop it off in the Supply Box. This is by far the easiest way to get the Wyvern Eggs that you need and you should now be able to head back to Astera and complete this little quest, unlocking the rewards that the Meowscular Chef offered.
