Masterwork Crossbow Borderlands 3 Guide: Rare Spawn Week

The Masterwork Crossbow is a Legendary sniper rifle that's the talk of the town right now. It's a cool pick-up because of its special weapon effect which gives it increased damage. Referred to in-game as "All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality", not only does this give the Masterwork Crossbow more damage but it also makes the gun fire literal crossbow bolts with a parabolic trajectory. There is a magazine size of only one, so you're going to really have to make every shot count.

If you're looking to pick up the Masterwork Crossbow, then generally you're in luck. It's an easy find from any loot drop in the overworld, which means everything ranging from a portable toilet to a chest in a bandit's house could potentially contain this Legendary. However, because it's Rare Spawn Week, we've got a tip that relies a little less on the vicissitudes of RNG. Yes, you head it here first: Urist McEnforcer has an increased chance to drop the Masterwork Crossbow for the in-game event that Gearbox is calling Rare Spawn Week, and this increased chance is going to be in play from 8 October to 15 October.

For those who aren't quite sure where to find Urist McEnforcer, you're going to have to have first killed Killavolt in order for him to spawn. You can find Urist McEnforcer in Lectra City via the Meridian Metroplex, and you can find him tramping around in the bowels of the former just waiting to be put down so you can pick up the Legendary sniper rifle that you've been coveting. Our Masterwork Crossbow Borderlands 3 guide should make this as easy as pie when combined with the increased drop rates for the week. Need a hand with farming Force Troopers on Promethea?
