Marvel’s Wolverine Pre-Order Bonus and Deluxe Edition Detailed
Alright, bub?
Insomniac Games finally gave us a proper gameplay reveal for Marvel’s Wolverine, showing off a lot of blood, gore, and plenty of action. Slated for September, Marvel’s Wolverine is now available to pre-order on PS5, and here is everything you need to know about the deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses.
Marvel’s Wolverine Pre-Order Bonus
If you pre-order Marvel’s Wolverine, you’ll receive early access to the Classic Brown suit and reflective claws, along with one additional technique point and four PlayStation avatars.

The pre-order bonus is the same for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Classic Brown suit was Logan’s default outfit throughout much of Wolverine’s comic runs in the 1980s and 1990s. It’s iconic and looks quite faithful to the source material in the render.
Marvel’s Wolverine Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition for Marvel’s Wolverine comes with the following content:
- Marvel’s Wolverine Digital Game
- All Pre-Order Bonuses
- 5 Exclusive Suits
- Incredible
- Savage
- Age of Apocalypse
- Night Hunt
- New Leather
- 5 Exclusive Claws
- Smooth-Edged Claws
- Hollow Blade Claws
- Thick Claws
- Serrated Spine Claws
- Tapered Claws
- 3 Additional Technique Points (4 in total if you could the pre-order bonus)

For an additional $10, you get a bunch of extra cosmetic items in the form of suits and claws and technique points, which should make the early portions of the game a bit easier. Personally, I think the additional suits are nice, especially the Night Hunt variant, but the Deluxe Edition doesn’t include any extra gameplay content.
Since this is already a $70 game, I’d rather buy the deluxe upgrade later if I’m looking for a reason to replay it with all the extra outfits. Since it explicitly mentions that the suits are exclusive to this edition or upgrade, you won’t be able to unlock those in-game. Keep in mind that even outside these bonuses, Insomniac Games usually has a wide variety of suits in-game anyway.

Marvel’s Wolverine Release Date
Marvel’s Wolverine is launching exclusively on PS5 and PS5 Pro on September 15, 2026.
Can You Play Marvel’s Wolverine Early?
No, the deluxe edition of Marvel’s Wolverine doesn’t have an early access incentive, so everyone will be able to play on the same date.
Is Marvel’s Wolverine Coming to PlayStation Plus?
No, Marvel’s Wolverine is a first-party premium title and will not be launching on any tier of PlayStation Plus. It could eventually land on the service, but I suspect that would take a few years at the very least.
Marvel’s Wolverine is set to join a crowded lineup of major releases in September 2026 as studios move their launch windows to avoid GTA 6’s November release. Either way, Insomniac Games looks to have done a fantastic job bringing Logan to life, and I can’t wait to finally don the claws.
