by Josh Hawkins

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle features a total of eight different characters that you can unlock and play. Each character comes with a unique set of abilities, and all of the characters work quite differently compared to others, so you’ll want to unlock all eight of the characters if you want the best composition for every world and boss. In this article we’ll show you how to unlock all of the characters in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, so you can make up the best team possible.

Don’t forget that you can change our your characters at any point by simply heading back to Peach’s castle and using the Battle HQ to change our your party members. This can be done anytime between battles, though you should remember that leaving a chapter will cause your progress to reset to the beginning of that chapter, forcing you to replay the fights you’ve already accomplished.

How to Unlock Every Characters

Unlocking characters in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is extremely easy, and you can unlock all eight of the characters by simply playing through the game. Right off the bat you’ll have three characters available to play: Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Luigi. From there you can unlock the following list of characters:

  • Luigi
  • Rabbid Mario
  • Princess Peach
  • Yoshi
  • Rabbid Yoshi

All of these characters will be unlocked through the game’s normal route of progression, and you’ll usually unlock them after beating the mid-boss of each world. Once you’ve unlocked a character, you can equip it into your party at any time that you aren’t in a battle by making your way to the Battle HQ. At the Battle HQ, choose to change your party formation, and then be sure to set your party up the way that you want to, to make sure your party composition fits your needs perfectly.

Once you’re ready, head back out into battle and test out your new party configuration to see how things are working. If you aren’t happy, be sure to change your party back and sort things through.
