Max-imum collectibles!

Like the first two chapters of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, there are a few collectibles in the third chapter as well. Players need to look out for Polaroid photos dropped around the campus to earn the chapter-specific achievement or trophy. Here are the locations for all the photos you can collect in Chapter 3 of Life Is Strange Double Exposure.

In the third chapter, players can collect five Polaroid photos. We’ll walk you through how you can add each to your collection and what to do if you missed something.

The first three polaroids are in the third subchapter, so you don’t have to look for anything in the first two sections of chapter three.

First Polaroid Photo – Re: Verses

After her interaction with Moses at the observatory, Max will end up at the Fine Arts Building. Remain in the “Living” timeline, and make your way towards the cafe.

You can find the first portrait on one of the tables at the cafe.

Second Polaroid Photo – Re: Verses

After meeting with Dr Gwen in the Fine Arts Building, Max will make her way to the administration building.

Here, switch to the “Dead” timeline and make your way to Dr Yasmin’s lobby.

You’ll find the second Polaroid on the coffee table.

Third Polaroid Photo – Re: Verses

After her conversation with Vinh, Max will end up at Lucas’ office.

Talk to him, and once you’re out of the office, switch to the “Dead” timeline.

After switching to the dead timeline, enter Lucas’ office again. Don’t worry, it’s not locked, and no one will catch you sneaking in.

Once inside, you can grab the third Polaroid from the large shelf.

Fourth Polaroid Photo – Nobody Wants To Drink Alone

Max will eventually end up at the Snapping Turtle bar in the “Living” timeline. Before talking to anyone, make your way towards where Reggie and Diamond are seated and pass them by.

The fourth Polaroid is sitting on the recycled barrel table next to one of the doors.

Fifth Polaroid Photo – Heartbreaking and Entering

The final Polaroid of Chapter 3 can be found at the start of the last subchapter. Once you’re back home, switch to the “Dead” timeline by interacting with the gateway.

Now, make your way to the right side of the living room, and you’ll find the last portrait on one of the small tables next to the recycled barrel.

After you have collected all five photos, the “Selfie Care” achievement will be unlocked. Each chapter has its achievement for collecting all the Polaroid photos.

Replay Chapters for Collectibles

If you missed any collectible during your regular playthrough, you can jump back into any chapter and individual subchapters to explore around and skip through the dialogue. You can track the progress of each chapter by following the completion photo icon on the bottom right.

If you’re aiming to collect all the photos, make sure to collect the Polaroids from Chapters One and Two of Life is Strange: Double Exposure as well.
