Leaf Guard Pokemon

This ability prevents its users from being affected by non-volatile status conditions and the Yawn move during terms of harsh sunlight. However, it does not change status conditions that were applied before the severe sunlight weather was activated. It also stops the impact of the move Rest and does not provide any effect outside of battle. 

If a character with this ability becomes drowsy from Yawn, it will be kept awake by Leaf Guard if harsh sunlight appears when it would fall asleep from Yawn being used on it.

Leaf Guard is a beneficial ability that can help characters like Zarude not be affected by a range of abilities that would leave otherwise leave them vulnerable to attacks. It will no doubt help Zarude in all of the battles it will be apart of heading into the future.
