The Last of Us Part 2 Rat King Boss Fight Guide

Players who venture into the world of The Last of Us Part 2 will come across a plethora of threats that they will have to defeat to survive. One of the most formidable of these threats is the Rat King boss, which will put up what is likely to the toughest fight that you will encounter in the title. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know to defeat the Rat King boss fight and continue your adventures. 

The Last of Us Part 2 Rat King

Those who come face to face with the Rat King boss will find that the creature they must fight is a combination of different kinds of infected that they have fought before that have combined into one terrifying monster. Now, players will find that in the fight against the Rat King boss that this monster can kill Abby in one attack. Your best bet is to keep as much distance as possible between Abby and the monster while using ranged weapons and throwable items like a Molotov. 

This boss is somewhat quick for its size, so do your best is to not stay in one location for too long and be greedy with dishing out damage. Inflict as much damage as you can for a couple of seconds and then move to a new area where you can continue this process while dodging any attacks the Rat King is throwing at you.

Eventually, you will do enough damage to this boss during the fight that it will fall through the floor. Unfortunately, a deadly Clicker will separate itself from the body of the creature and come after you. Players will want to make sure that Abby does not get too close to this beast, as it will take her down in no time at all. It will take approximately 20 well-placed shots to finish off this monster and continue your adventure.
