Skip Herb Picking Animation

Look, if you’re tired of seeing Henry gently rip the herbs from the soil every single time, you can skip the animation entirely using a handy mod. This makes the act of picking herbs instant, which saves a lot of time, especially when you need to pick up a high quantity.

How To Make Herbs Last Longer in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Like food items, herbs in your inventory will spoil over time and become nearly useless. Thankfully, you can preserve them by drying them at various drying racks found across Trosky and Kuttenberg.

This free service converts your herbs into sacks of dried herbs that last indefinitely. We recommend using it often to ensure your herbs stay fresh.

  • Simply approach a drying rack, which is usually part of an establishment or someone’s house, and select the items you want to dry.
  • A short animation will play, and you’ll receive the dried herbs instantly in your inventory.
  • As you can see, even though the herbs had quality ratings of 65 and 97 before drying, both now have a perfect 100 quality rating in the inventory.
  • You can find a drying rack that’s available to use during the day at the bar in Troskowitz.

Just like herbs, players can also preserve their food items through drying and smoking.

We recommend players to pick as many herbs as they can, even if they don’t currently need it. It can be pretty annoying to find or purchase a specific herb when you actually need it, so it’s always nice to have a varied inventory.
