Gravity always does its course, so fall damage is a thing present in most FPS games of today’s age. But is there fall damage in Lethal Company, and how lethal is it? Let’s find out below.

Do You Lose Health When You Fall From Heights in Lethal Company?

There is fall damage in Lethal Company, and you will lose health when you fall from great heights. You will notice your silhouette in the top-left corner (the indicator of your health) becoming more red the lower your health is in the game. Be extra careful when jumping from great heights.

In the previous versions of Lethal Company, some players have accidentally (or purposefully) jumped off their ship as it initiated its landing sequence and figured out that fall damage didn’t kill them. This has changed since the Update 45.

Can You Die of Fall Damage in Lethal Company?

It is indeed possible to die of fall damage in Lethal Company. And no, I am not referring to falling into numerous pits within the Facilities you visit that are designed to kill you instantly and make your body irrecoverable; I am talking about dying from falling off the mountain, bridge, ledge, etc.

You no longer need to be critically injured to die of fall damage. You will just die instantly if you jump from big heights.

You should no longer toy around with the fall damage feature unless you are about to leave the Moon and must deliver the final scrap pieces before your departure because you never know what enemies might be lurking about. You should only jump down if you know for a fact that you’ll make it down alive or you have a way to glide down a mountain without taking damage (aka cheesing the game’s physics).
