But can it run on the last-gen?

Is Star Wars Jedi Survivor Coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One?

Star Wars Jedi Survivor arrives on April 28 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S – there will be no PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions. Although the sequel looks very similar to its predecessor, the authors from Respawn justify cutting off the last-gen due to the scope that the new game will have and the limitations that the old hardware would have placed on them. So, it is a next-gen-only experience.

Is Star Wars Jedi Survivor the Final Star Wars Title from EA?

This Sous-like metroidvania-inspired Star Wars Jedi sequel with a very strong storyline picks up five years after the events of Fallen Order and continues the story of Cal Kestis, a survivor of Order 66. Also, this will be EA’s final Star Wars game before their exclusivity contract expires. They only developed five games in the ten years they possessed the rights to the Star Wars franchise, with the Star Wars Jedi series being the most successful. We already know that Ubisoft and Quantic Dream are working on the next Star Wars projects, but the authors of Respawn have expressed their intention to make Star Wars Jedi a trilogy.

Anyhow, these are things we will deal with in the future. For now, we are very excited about the upcoming release of Jedi Survivor, which has a great chance of being one of the best Star Wars games in a long time – so get a new console or update your PC and be ready on April 28 to go once more to the galaxy far far away.
