Is SMITE 2 Coming to PS4 and PS5? – Answered

Titan Forge Games officially announced SMITE 2 on January 12, 2024, and with it came a closed alpha trailer and some details regarding its launch platforms. Let’s talk about whether SMITE 2 will launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Will SMITE 2 Come to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5?

SMITE 2 will be released on PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. While you can play it on PS5 after it launches, it will not be available on PS4, unlike its predecessor. Although the original SMITE is on PS4, you won’t have access to its sequel unless you switch to another platform.

Currently, SMITE 2 will be available on PC through Epic Games and Steam, alongside releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series X. It’ll first launch in a closed alpha test in Spring 2024, with further release details available afterward.

Additionally, there are no details regarding whether SMITE 2 will launch on PS4 after its release. Since the game is unlikely to be released before the end of 2024, Titan Forge Games will likely reveal more information surrounding its launch platforms over time. However, the odds of it getting a PS4 port initially are low, especially since the first SMITE is available on it and hasn’t carried over to newer consoles.
