Sea of Stars Game Pass Featured

Is Sea of Stars Coming to Game Pass? – Answered

An easy ticket for galaxy sailing

Long-date turn-based games fans have probably heard about the upcoming release of Sea of Stars, a classical-style RPG by Sabotage Studio. Similar titles inspire this gorgeous 2.5D game (in the likes of Octopath Traveler), and it’s set in the same universe as the Studio’s previous game, The Messenger.

Set to be released on August 29, the game has amassed quite a few fans during its development, who are definitely eager to play it when it’s finally here. But can you easily access this game through the prestigious Xbox Game Pass service?

Is Sea of Stars Available on Game Pass?

Fortunately, Sea of Stars will be available on Day One through Game Pass. Info was confirmed back in June, alongside some other indie titles also making their way into Microsoft’s gaming services like Another Crab’s Treasure and Galacticare.

But back to Sea of Stars, the game will also be available for the price of $34,99 digitally on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Series X|S. Just pick your favorite platform and enjoy the game as you want.

Up to six characters join the fray in this turn-based combat filled to the brim with vivid, fully explorable areas and an engaging story as one would expect from the very same classic titles the game pays homage to (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and more).

You can try a demo right now if you’re interested, as it’s already available on every single platform you can find this game (literally all of them). Otherwise, you can just wait a few more weeks until the game is finally out and see it out for yourself with your Game Pass subscription. It might not give you a field of stars, but at least a sea is guaranteed.
