The long-awaited sequel to the beloved Remnant: From the Ashes, Remnant 2, brings with it some very difficult battles that are sure to test your ability to aim, dodge, and be patient with your moves. The first game was great with doing that (and making you yell at your screen), so it’d make sense that the follow-up would only further focus on that strength. Can You Play Remnant 2 With Friends?

Unlike almost every other soulslike, yes! Remnant 2 offers multiplayer co-op for you and up to two other friends. Similar to the first game, the three of you can jump into whatever world you please and proceed to die together, over and over again. You all can play the same Archetype if you want to put all your eggs into one basket, or you can spread yourselves apart to cover multiple areas like tanking, healing, and damage to have a well-rounded bunch.

How Do You Play With Friends in Remnant 2?

While we’re a bit sparse on the details here (and we’ll update this once the game is available), presumably Remnant 2 will work like most games. There will be a section of the game that acts as a tutorial where you need to play solo for a bit before multiplayer unlocks. Typically the game will tell you when multiplayer is possible, so be ready to do some intro stuff for an hour before partying up. Once you do get past that tutorial, it should be as simple as sending an invite through however you’d normally send invites to other people.
