Deep Rock Galactic:Â Survivor has made its early access debut and has grasped the attention of tens of thousands of players already. Given the availability of many of these small indie roguelite titles on mobile, people are wondering if Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is available on mobile (Android, iOS) as well.
Can You Play Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on Android and iOS?
As of this moment, it’s not possible to play Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on mobile platforms (Android and iOS). The reason for this is currently unknown because there have been no statements from the developers of Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor (Funday Games). However, an educated guess would be that, similar to other indie games, the development focus is on the PC version until the game leaves the early access phase and reaches the infamous “1.0” state.
Only after the full release can there be a discussion regarding moving it to other platforms, such as Android, iOS, and even consoles (PS5 and Xbox X|S).
Will Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor be available on Android and iOS in the future?
It is not known if Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor will be released on Android and iOS in the future. So far, the developers have made no announcements regarding this possibility. And it’s pretty normal, so do not worry; we need to wait and see how the situation regarding this new roguelite hit develops. If the game gets enough attention from gamers worldwide, there will certainly be an incentive for Funday Games to port it to other platforms and tap into additional markets. But, as I mentioned, we shouldn’t expect anything until the game is fully released on PC.
When Will Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor Release Fully?
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has been released in Early Access in February 2024 on Steam. Some games take longer to come out than others. A lot of the games I followed recently had up to a year of Early Access period, so I wouldn’t expect it to be this year. We’ll have to be patient and see.
