A large portion of attention from the Destiny 2 community is currently focused on the upcoming Shadowkeep expansions which will be releasing September 17th of 2019. However, there is still plenty of activities for players to partake in the current version of Destiny 2. One of these activities is the upgrading of the new Solstice Armor sets which were added into the looter-shooter title with the Solstice of Heroes event. Each Guardian class has received two new armor sets that each requires players completing various tasks to upgrade them. Upgrading these Solstice Armor sets to their legendary form will then result in these sets becoming 2.0 sets when the highly anticipated Shadowkeep expansion releases.
If you are interested in learning how to upgrade your Destiny 2 Solstice Armor sets as quickly as possible, be sure to check out everything you need to know below.
How to Upgrade Destiny 2 Solstice Armor
Players will first need to acquire the base form of the sets for whichever Guardian class they are using. You will need to visit the character of Eva Levante in the Tower and begin the newly added event. This is when you will receive the helmet. After securing the helmet, you will need to complete a run of the European Aerial Zone activity to get the rest of the Destiny 2 set.
You will have to be wearing the full set to receive upgrade progress so make sure not to remove it once you begin your quest to upgrade the Destiny 2 Solstice Armor set.
As with other activities from the high-profile first-person shooter game, the grind to upgrade each Solstice Destiny 2 Armor set can be a tad tedious. However, YouTuber Cheese Forever has put together a beneficial strategy to upgrade each set as quickly as possible.
