How to Unlock The Private Room Door in Sifu

You’ll encounter this door in the first level, known as “The Squats” and when trying to open it will be added to the Detective Board. It isn’t until the fifth level “The Sanctuary” that you’ll begin getting the key you need to open it.

Immediately before the boss of the first level, you will find a keycard on a table labeled Keycard 206 it will be added to the Detective Board and you will forget about it for most of the game. During the fifth level of Sifu, make your way through the level until you come to the staircase mid-way through the stage.

Go upstairs and follow the hallway, noting that the room numbers are all in the 200’s. Look for Room 206 and use the keycard you picked up at the very first level. Inside this room will be the Flowers Key which links back to the Private Room door from level one.

Now that you have the Flowers Key, it’s time to return to The Squats and check out what’s inside. Make your way through the level back to the Private Room door and once you’re there, use the Flowers Key to open it. Sitting on the table in the middle of the room will be a red-letter, pick it up to add it to your Detective Board.

There’s no big shortcut or exciting revelation behind the door, but if you’re looking to fully complete the game or at least find everything on the Detective Board you’ll need this piece.
