How to Get the Dungeons & Dragons Icewind Dale Digital Dice Set in DnD Beyond

Players that preorder the Dungeons & Dragons Icewind Dale adventure book ahead of launch will get access to the digital dice set in DnD Beyond, along with six character backdrops. The latest adventure book can be preordered on the official DnD Beyond website, for $30, and will give players access to the book, the dice, and the backdrops. Currently, it seems this is the only way to get the Dungeons & Dragons Icewind Dale digital dice set.

For those who may not be familiar, DnD Beyond allows players to have a bunch of Dungeons & Dragons resources all in one place. For example, it will allow players to manage their characters, get online access to the rule books and adventures, and much more. For those hardcore players, the website even has a bundle that will allow them to purchase all of the adventure books that have been released thus far.

If you’re not familiar with the Dungeons & Dragons Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden adventure book, it is the latest sourcebook and will be taking players back to Icewind Dale. Below is the official description of the book:

“Beneath the unyielding night sky, you stand before a towering glacier and recite an ancient rhyme, causing a crack to form in the great wall of ice. Beyond this yawning fissure, the Caves of Hunger await. And past this icy dungeon is a secret so old and terrifying that few dare speak of it. The mad wizards of the Arcane Brotherhood long to possess that which the god of winter’s wrath has so coldly preserved—as do you! What fantastic secrets and treasures are entombed in the sunless heart of the glacier, and what will their discovery mean for the denizens of Icewind Dale? Can you save Ten-Towns from the Frostmaiden’s everlasting night?”

Dungeons & Dragons first released in 1974 and is a tabletop RPG that has amassed an incredibly large following in its almost 50 years of existence. In it, each player will create their own character who will be led through a campaign by a Dungeon Master who is using a sourcebook, like the Icewind Dale. Since its release, the franchise has continued to expand and is now one of the best know tabletop games in existence, spanning over multiple generations

Unfortunately, the Dungeons & Dragons Icewind Dale sourcebook isn’t due out until September, so you’ll have to wait a little while to embark on the newest journey.
