How to Use your amiibo in Fire Emblem Engage

Let male Alear wear Lyn's outfit

If you’re wondering if Fire Emblem Engage has amiibo support like Fire Emblem Three Houses, you’re in luck. It does! Here’s how to use your amiibo in Fire Emblem Engage.

How to Use your amiibo in Fire Emblem Engage

Early on in the game, you’ll unlock the sanctum called Somniel, a floating island that houses not only your conscripted army friends but a plaza, restaurant, farm, and pool. But amongst these many facilities is also one you won’t want to miss: the amiibo gazebo.

I’m sure they chose that name because it rhymes.

If you’re uncertain where to find it, open your map of Somniel by selecting ‘x’ while on the floating island. Then, navigate to the orchard. The gazebo will be adjacent to the orchard, close to the ‘loop’ you can see on your map.

Once you’ve found the gazebo, approach the pedestal in the center and interact with it. This will give you the option to scan. Select it, then you can place any amiibo you have in your collection over your controller to scan it.

There are two types of amiibo you can scan: Fire Emblem-related amiibo and non-Fire Emblem related amiibo.

If they’re Fire-Emblem related, you can receive special outfits associated with that amiibo, like Marth and Celica Style, and the music used for their Fire Emblem Title. But if the amiibo isn’t Fire Emblem related, you’ll be able to obtain random bonus items and materials instead.

But they’re not free! These outfits and music tracks can be unlocked using tickets, which are obtained by scanning amiibo. And it’s worth noting that the outfits are gender-locked (sadly, you can’t wear Lyn’s Style as male Alear). So, spend carefully!

You also won’t be able to scan your entire collection in one go. You can scan up to 5 amiibo every 24 hours.
